METHOD

Cooking oil
100 g of wheat flour
1 teaspoon of turmeric
2 dl of grated carrot
400 g of minced meat
1 egg
Salt and pepper
500 g of potatoes
2 onions
2 spoonfuls of tomato purée
4 dl of water
1 teaspoon of cinnamon


SERVE WITH BREAD AND SALAD.

1 Heat 25 g of oil in a frying pan and let the
flour heat in the oil until it turns light brown.
2 Transfer the flour to a bowl and mix with the turmeric, carrot, minced meat, egg, salt and pepper. Take spoonfuls of the dough and shape into balls the size of walnuts. Heat half the oil in the frying pan and fry all the meatballs.
3 Peel the potatoes and slice them into wedges. Chop the onions and fry them with the rest of the oil. Add tomato purée and water, stir gently. Add the cinnamon, salt and pepper. When the water begins to boil, transfer the meatballs and the potatoes to the boiling water. Let simmer for 20 minutes.
